I will perform my compositions in Piano Solo.
William Mendelbaum is an international pianist (Paris, Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, London, Reunion Island, Sydney, Amsterdam…). Virtuoso, composer, improviser, arranger, he perform more than 700 concerts on 5 continents. Located in Reunion, I was trained by Thuryn Mitchell (pianist who played with George Benson, Maceo Parker, Lionel Loueke…). he take lessons and masterclasses with Shai Maestro, Yaron Herman, Yonathan Avishai and Jacob Colllier. I have performed in famous clubs, halls and jazz festivals around the world. he has the opportunity to play with renowned international musicians (Sylvin Marc, Swaeli Mbappe, Benjamin Petit, Jean Philippe Fanfan, Thierry Fanfan, Davy Honet, Roni Kaspi (Avishai Cohen), Amaro Freitas, Cristophe Cravero, Russel Hall (bassist who played with Wayne Shorter, Sun Ra..)Julien Faulkner (drummer who played with Robert Glasper, Ornette Coleman, Wynton Marsalis..
he were selected for the international competition “Made in Jazz in New York 2023” which is currently taking place (Randy Brecker, Mike Stern, Lenny White are judges).
He performed frequently in New York, Los Angeles, Paris, London, Sydney, and Tokyo (Montreux Jazz Festival, Marciac Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Blue Note, etc.)…..
